Negative! Negative! Negative!
I was sitting on my duff the other day pondering all the negative articles the press is printing on the real estate market here in the good old U S of A when it suddenly occurred to me that every cloud has a silver lining. I know that is a trite expression but it still holds some truth.
With the downturn of today’s market, home prices have indeed fallen but there is a bright side to this. With the downturn come homes that are now more affordable for the general public, especially the first time home buyers and those who have smaller incomes. It is now possible for those who could not afford the high price of homes in the “old market” to have the opportunity to own their own home.
If you would like more information on how you can buy an entry level home, please contact us (Robert@mbre.net) and we would be happy to assist you. The time to buy is right; don’t let the negative press dampen your dreams. Our country is still strong and our economy will rebound --- keep the faith.

Ahoy mates!
If you’re sailing the coast of Maine this weekend (June 23rd) and enjoy good music, drop anchor in Brooklin, Maine and visit the Music and Arts Festival at Flye Point. The fun begins at 10:30 AM, the “Little River Band” and five other groups will be belting out some fine tunes so stop on by and enjoy. Don’t forget, if you are looking for your own piece of Maine, contact the folks at Morgan Bayside Real Estate, Inc. (800-667-3845) and let them help you with your real estate needs.Ahoy mates!

Winter Harbor, Maine

Coordinates: 44°23’43”N 68°04’59”W
The Old Salt says, "Mattie’s , did you know"---
The summer colony of Grindstone Neck lies on a peninsula southwest of the village. In 1889 a group formed “The Gouldsboro Land Improvement Company” with the idea of creating a summer colony much like that of Bar Harbor. Residents of this community share in an association which includes a yacht club, nine hole golf course, tennis courts and footpaths. The Winter Harbor Yacht Club has recently purchased and renovated all nine originial Winter Harbor 21's. Designed and launched in 1908, they are thought to be the oldest one-design sailboat fleet in the United States.
